WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY UNCAPPER TO BE DELIVERED?
If it's in stock then within a week. Out of stock could take up to 6 weeks, depending on pirate activity in the Red Sea. Priority will go to the brave souls who put down a deposit! Money talks so place an order with a deposit...
I ONLY HAVE 3 HIVES, IS IT RIGHT FOR ME?
Yes it is. The real question is can i justify the outlay on an uncapper? Like us you have beekeeping friends so do yourselves a favour, club together in threes and say goodbye to the doghouse and mopping the floor, walls and ceiling on your kitchen.
If you have 4 or more hives then go solo and lord it over the slow horses like the Early Adopter you are.
JOKING ASIDE, THE TECHNICAL STUFF
Is it fast, clean & efficient?
We think so, with a little practice, you will be able to uncap several frames a minute, even allowing for knobbly bits and shallow filled frames. Uncapping will not be the hold up in your extraction.
Clean, hell yeah! all the drips end up in the tray and not across your tables, saving hours of mopping.
Efficient? well for starters you won't have the additional job of processing that pile of honeyfied wax cappings. 80% of the cappings stay on the comb through the extraction and go back into the hive for the bees to repair any damage caused in the extraction process. Less processing for us, less wax to replace for your bees.
